Bus page

Page 44 and 45 where Heidi and her mother are going to a certain store in Reno to find a vacuum cleaner broke. I think this page has made Heidi more eager to learn more about her history and I think this is the thing that sparks her enthusiasum to go "cross-country" (on the back of the book).

  1. I actually disagree, because in the beginning of pg. 44, she wrote "I grabbed her arm and tried to pull her down the sidewalk toward home." This was after her mom was sreaming, and holding her heart, and spazzing out, in a way. By the way.

I think this says that she could have been eager, but not THAT eager. Also, at the time, I don't think that she really thought that the vaccum cleaner has the meaning of "soof". Therefore, I don't think that she was eager to learn about her history. And even though if that was wrong, then her plan definitely backfired that page.

  2. I don't know, she probobly really enjoyed going on the bus for the first time but she was scared at the same time because she is responsible for her mom.
